Mosskeeper

Place a little green. Give it room to grow.

Play Mosskeeper

How to play

  • Choose one of three pairs of garden tiles. Rotate it, preview a place, and plant both tiles in empty squares.
  • Flowers beside water earn 6 points; trees beside flowers earn 4; cottages beside trees or water earn 3. Meadow beside flowers earns 2.
  • Make flower-and-water habitats for butterflies and three-tree groves for birds. Undo is available. When no pair fits, admire your finished garden or begin another.

Controls

Choose a pair of tiles, tap a garden square, then Plant. Rotate with the button or R. Arrow keys move the preview; Space plants it.

Use Pause, P, or Escape to rest. Opening the field guide, switching tabs, or closing a cabinet pauses the game. Sound and moving details follow your saved village settings.

Scores and saved progress

Personal records, unlocked routes, unfinished rounds, and your finished garden are saved in this browser. Reopening an active round restores it paused. Clearing site data removes the save; progress does not sync between devices.

A stamp for your collection

Earn bronze, silver, and gold versions of the botanical stamp at 45, 90, 135 points. Your stamps appear in the arcade collection and your discovery journal. They are optional keepsakes; The Sleeping Star never requires an arcade score.

Welcoming wildlife

A flower beside both water and meadow invites a butterfly worth 5 points. A connected grove of at least three trees invites a bird worth 8 points. These bonuses are added to neighboring tile scores.
